Default 04 Durango 4.7

My Durango starting ticking real loud yesterday when started. The tick is coming from the passenger side bottom of the motor, it gets some quiet after warming up. What could this be? Fresh oil change and full with oil.

One of your lifters or rockers may have come off. It coould also be a exhaust manifold leak. Put a piece a tissue near the manifold where it connects to the engine while the engine is running. Move it along the seal and see if it moves due to a leak. You can do a search for other opinions:

The 4.7 is notorios for breaking studs, also,

Thanks for the inputs, mine ended up being an exhaust leak.
