Default Auto-on headlight takes too much time

The problem is when driving (day time) and get into a tunnel or a sub parking lot, the headlight takes too much time to turn on.

Is there any way I can adjust this delay (sensitivity or delay)?

I'll appreciate any help,

Patrick

This may sound stupid, but you can change the parameters for the windshield wipers to turn of the headlights (a law in NY - must have headlights on while raining). The upper console has these parameters. Also, just turn the **** from auto to 'on',
