Default 2008 4.7 Oil Light

I have a 2008 4.7 and just change the oil myself about 500 miles ago, and now the Change Oil Light comes on every time I start the Vehicle. Is there a way to remove this code myself or do I have to take it to the dealer?

You could disconnect the negaive terminal on the battery for a few minutes
to reset the PCM,

No need to mess with the battery and such. The key and code process to reset the "reminder" should be in the manual. In fact it is. Check on page 198.

Let me know if you have any other questions or have issues with the reset.

My fault, I never had to reset mine so I assumed that the 'puter did it automically once the oil was changed. My Pontiac I had 10 years ago had a button that you held in to reset, but none of my Dodges (2003 and 2007) ever needed reset,
