Default Programming features

I looking for instructions on programming features for a 2006 Durango. At one point we had the theater lighting inside when the doors closed as in a slow fade to off. They recalled the instrument cluster and the feature went away. I would like to turn this feature back on and possibly other features.

I read through the owners manual and found nothing. I read people mentioning programming features through the overhead console.

I want to avoid taking it to the dealer.

Thanks

The overhead will have parameters for things like these (unlock doors when exiting, honk horn when locking remote, ect.). I will look into my manual, but I think if you open the door and scroll the dimmer control down or something along that line....,

My manual does talk about turning off the horn when locking and disabling auto lock but it's through the ignition. Like turn the ignition on an off 4 times etc.

My durango used to slowly dim the lights when we closed the door after getting in. I'd like that back.

Check out page 131 in the manual (not sure if they are the same) and I went through my overhead console and I did not see anything about fading out the interior lights. Maybe disconnect the negative terminal on the batteery for a few minutes and see of it reverts back to the fade out lights,
