I am installing an XK03 (with CHDL7) from XPRESSKIT.com, and cannot figure out how to wire the MUX. The wiring instructions say to connect to the violet/brown Pin 4 of the ignition harness. I think that the "ignition harness" is the 18 pin connector off the ignition switch, but there is no violet/brown. I went through the Dodge wiring diagrams, and there are several MUX connections that are violet/brown. But none that are on an ignition harness.

Has anyone wired one of these up on a Durango (2005 5.7L), no chip in the key?

Thanks for responding. I have all the wiring diagrams for the XK03 and the Durango. The problem is that the xpresskit wiring diagram is very generic, and covers many Chrysler vehicles. I think the Durango may be wired differently - one thing I found was that the xpresskit CHALL (a newer fancier model with remote start) for the CHTH2 configuration (which is for the Durango and some other models), calls out the MUX as purple/brown for "vehicles 2004 - 2007", but then says "Except the Dodge Durango". What is doesn't say is what to do for the Durango.

Now maybe I will look for Dakota wiring diagrams to figure out what wire the "ignition harness pin 4" is on that vehicle, and see if there is a different wire on the Durango that would work...
