Talking newbie with 04 5.7L durango

Howdy, I'm new. I ain't new to a dodge though. I have a paid off 04 dodge durango that has just now started showing signs of troubles. ain't it funny how that goes. anyways, I want to know if anyone out there has an easy fix for engine oil blowback into the air filter?? Two mechanics told me to trade my durango in or buy a new engine. I'm pretty broke and can't afford either. I'm a disabled Vet, so money is a big issue with me. I am going to buy an engine oil slude cleaner today and ask the local auto parts guys what else to get. What would you guys do??? Please let me know! Thanks!

The oil blowback was only about 2oz worth...I got a new oil change and have been watching the air filter for more oil...none yet...and I drive 80mph on hwy most days. Its been 2 weeks and not oil showing...could it have been a fluke? Or maybe one day I could have drove a bit over 80mph and got oil blowback then?? any takers on idea on why that could be? I could have put too much oil in a while back and that may have been the cause...hmmm...maybe I should slow down..lol Thanks for the info guys!
