Default annoying noise coming from ??

I replaced my back brakes and my tire pressure sensor came on and it sounds like metal on metal started, likes the brakes are wearing down. We checked everything and everything is tight. Today I took it to the shop and they checked everything again and now my tire pressure light is off and at first there was no sound and when I pulled into my garage the sound started again.

Even though I have dodge brake pads in it, the shop checked everything over and all looks good, what would cause the sound like the brakes are metal to metal?

The sound isn't constant, meaning if the truck sits overnight or any length of time, and I start driving it, there is no sound, however if I start stopping and going, the sound starts and never ends until I park it. I can even park if for a half hour or so and then go again and the sound would is gone for a while.

Its hard to actually describe it, but its driving me nuts and now the guys at the shop are confused as well after 3 hours of trying to figure it out

Did they pull the rear rotors off and look at the parking brake? Sound like when the rotor heats up after a few stops there is a clearance problem, possibly with the rotor to the back plate of the parking brake.

they claim "they checked everything', however, I'll be pulling it apart today, is there a way to check without taken the rotor off?

I think it would be difficult to see much without removing the rotor. Did you have a look already? Find anything?

I had my wifes replaced at NTB (National Tire and Battery) and they would squeal during hard stops. Eventually the rotors needed replaced as she dug into them and they were damafed. The parking brake is secondary to the disk brake in the rear (usually a drum) and could be the source as HemiDSLT stated,
