Default Brake pedal wobble???

OK, I've had this 2005 Durango SLT Adventurer for a little over a year and overall I like it. There is just one issue that is driving me crazy. Whenever I hit a good size pothole or bump the brake pedal moves/wobbles side to side and makes a horrible noise. It's not that big of a deal but it's driving me nuts! Does anyone have this issue or have a fix?

It looks like I could put a shim in the shaft but didn't know if anyone else had this problem or a fix.

Thanks for any help...

Todd

Bad shocks.

Bad shocks may have lead way to other suspension wear as well.

Swap shocks and have rest inspected. Suggest Bilsteins.
