So recently my wife smashed up the front end of our 2007 durango, and I have been looking at parts, the 2004 LOOKS the same, but I hear they are kind of different. For instance for the bumper a 2004 with primer is like 225 a 2007 is 360, why and could i fit the 2004? also after this I want to put a brush guard on it, and some say 2004-2006, some say 2004-2010, but I hear they dont work. Anybody know the actual answers. Thanks

 

The front end is different in the 2007 compared to the 2004-2006. THe 2007 does not have the hood that is scalloped above the front wheel wells. The federal goverment mandated that all large vehicles after a certain year (2007?) must have lower bumpers in order to protect smaller cars incase of an accident. Basically, the front fascia is different in 2007,
