Lift kit
Hello All,
I have a 06 Durango and I added a front leveling lift kit. Specs call for 2.25" maximum but the installers riased it over 3". The car looks great but the suspension is very rough as it goes off curbs and potholes. Another problem I am encoutering is the TCS light comes on when I make tight cornering maneuvers. THis is a problem in the dry asphalt as it applies the brakes to the wheel it misreads as slipping. The dealer tell me its because of the larger wheels. I had the stock 18" and upgraded to 2010 Dakota 20" wheels. The place I bought the Lift Kit from said they have never experienced any problems with the Durango Lift Kit. Has anyone heard or had a similar experience - What to do?

Where do your tires rub? Is it over bumps: ie suspension travel or is it when turning? I have the 20 x 9 inch Ram wheels and the closest I can find to 33's for Nittos are in 295/60R20. Do you think these are to wide?
P.S. I was looking at the Trail Grapplers.

As far as tires are concerned, i was always fond of my Firestone Destination A/T's, great on road tires, aggressive look, and very capable offroad as well.
I haven't yet done the torsion bar lift yet, but am getting around to it, I plan on doing it as soon as i need new tires (that way it is all at once w/ tires and alignment).
