I have a 2004 4.7L 4x4 Durango that has just recently started showing weird electronic "glitches" and now will not start. My wife was driving it one day and the guages started to flicker and then basically went haywire with all the warning lights coming on and the m.p.h. and rpm guage stopped working. I disconnected the battery terminals and that seemed to fix the problem at the time. I went to start it over the weekend after have driven it the previous day and and it sounded like the starter was bad but then the gauges went haywire again and the locks kept locking and unlocking by themselves, I am completely dumbfounded on what it could possibly be. Any thoughts out there?

Did you load test the battery?

On a Gen1, I would say CTM but unsure on a Gen2.
