2005 cv joint problem
I have a 2005 4x4 hemi drango. Just after purchase, I used the factory front end adjuster to lift the front end around 2" to level the truck. Now we go forward 103,989 miles, when I was doing the front breaks I found grease through out the wheel well and found both inner boots torn. I decided to run down to a local parts store and get 2 new half shafts vs. replacing only the boots. since I changed them out, the front end has a horrible vibration when under load. It also cluncks around when making turns. After taking a peek underneath I see that the brand new shafts have torn cv boots after only 1 week. Now to the question,
Do I need to go drop nearly $500 at the dealer for factory shafts?
try another brand of after market shafts?
Or is something there something else causing this that I'm missing?

Moog makes a good set that are affordable, but I would think that the angle of the toe has changed since you raised the factory ride height. Razors Edge makes a set that is specifically for lowered (maybe heightened also?) vehicles,
