Default 04 Durango oil light on

I was drivin my Durango around the other day and the oil light came on. It's got enough oil in it (right in the middle of the safe zone) and it's not leaking anywhere. It's got 107000 miles on it so i'm thinkin that it might be a sensor. I plan on getting the oil changed to see if the cold just change the vescocity of the oil but what do you guys think? I googled the issue and one said the oil sending unit. Also it has the 4.7 v8 and I've had the lifters replaced (sayin just incase of a worn lobe). I appreciate any feedback

I would not think the cold would have anything to do with the light,
