Default exhaust

I recently just had a flowmaster muffler installed on my 2004 durango and it sounds good and everything but not quite as loud as I want it. The guy at the muffler shop said we could take off the last resonater and it would make it substantially louder. I was wondering if anyone knew just how loud that would be because I dont want it to be unbearably loud since I ride my kids around in this quite a bit

I put a magnaflow on right after the cat and piped it out the rear. It sounds really good especially when it opens up. Only problem is now I'm leaning to a full dual exhaust next.

The dual exhaust will work, but the spare tire will be in the way and may need to be removed,
