Question Fastway E-2 Sway Control Hitch

Does anyone have experience using the Fastway E-2 10k Sway Control hitch towing a travel trailer with a D-Hemi?

The E-2 is suppose to be user friendly and allows backing up. Cost is about $400 + installation. Any thoughts or other recommendations?

Thanks,

Depends on what you are towing whether you really need the sway control system.

First make sure you have proper hitch weight on ball--should be around 400 lbs. Most sway problems are caused by improper hitch weight. Also make sure weight is even distributed on trailer and tires are at proper inflation.

I tow a 7000 boat with my 2005 Durango with the 5.7 and AWD. I just have factory tow package and proper height ball/drawbar. No problems and no sway issues with that configuration.
