Default 2004 Durango

Not sure if this is the right section but I own a 2004 durango slt 5.7 hemi magnum and I am in the process of changing the power steering pressure switch. can anyone tell me where it is located. When I went to the dealer to order the switch they ask me if the switch was in thepump or the line. Are there to switchs?

Tim:
The PS switch on my 01 D was inline on a hose. Not sure where it is on the 04. What are the symptoms causing you to replace the switch?

BTW, I have a factory manual, and will try to find you a location for that switch.

I think I found it. It is inline dear the power steering pump. The reason I am replacing it is because the check engine code says it is bad. Also, the vehicle stalls when making turns,

Tim:

Glad you found it.
Another thing about the PS pressure switch, they are known to go bad and leak.
Sometimes, they let PS fluid to leak into the harness which causes all kinds of nightmares.
