Hi folks I just got the news that my EGR valve needs to be replaced and can't find out how to do it or it's location at all on the web. My Durango is a 2007 4.7 AWD. I'm thinking it's on the driver side and tucked way back behind the engine block. Can SOMEONE PLEASE give me a step by step process to replace my bad EGR valve. I have heard it's kinda a pain to get to, but once you get to it it's really no big deal. Thanks a bunch.

 

It is located on the back of the cylinder head on the drivers side. There should be a tube that connects it to the intake manifold,
