I recently purchased a 2004 Durango Limited. It has the 6 disc mp3, dvd, sat. radio, all that fun stuff. I was trying to activate the Sirius but when I put the reciever to sat mode it just keeps saying no signal. I've tried sending the activation signal several times with no luck. Someone told me it may be a bad antenna or antenna wiring since the "no signal" means the reciever isnt picking up any satellite signal at all. Question is, where is the reciever located and how can I check to make sure everything is connected and is it possible to test the antenna?

 

The receiver and the antenna are on top of the roof towrds the rear hatch on the 2007. The 2004 should be on the roof also. The dealer may have to look at it (I do not like to direct people to the dealer) as the antenna or the receiver may need updated according to Sirius Radio,
