The durango has AWD with a limited slip differential,

Congrats on getting the Durango, and thanks much for your service.

Glad to see your D will be fixed. I think that most states now have a 3 day period where by the buyer can return the vehicle if they feel they have been taken. Here in Ohio I have heard that any way.

Since your new D has 103K miles, when you can be sure to look into whether or not the following services have been done:

Transfer case and front/rear axles drained and refilled every 30K.

Transmission drain and refill with both sump and return spin on filter done at least every 50K.

Spark plugs are spec'ed at 30K, but can go 40-50K if needed. Coolant is good for 5 years or 100K. If yours is the OEM stiff, time for a Cooling system flush and refill.

The 545RFE trans in your D is a stout piece of hardware, but they have had some issues with the 04-05 models losing the torque converter here and there.
