My fault, does the key work or is the keyfob not working? If the keyfob is not working, try to change the battery. If the key is not working, then it is time to call a locksmith,

Yup, fascist is right. If you don't have a working key for a car, then you can't drive said car. No offense intended, just not sure what miracle "better way" you were thinking we could provide for you.

Dealership would be able to program a key for you, of course, but you would have to to get the car to them first. Flat bed or tow truck required, depending on if its a 4x2 or AWD/4x4. Not to kick you while you're down, but ALWAYS have a spare key for your vehicles. Yes, they are expensive to program at the $tealership, but now you may have to pay for a haul AND the programming both, not to mention the huge inconvenience of having a vehicle sit there being useless to you in the mean time.
