Ok I'm about to invest in the Navigation System but I have some questions hopefully someone can help me...

Has anyone bought the Nav system from a wholesale dealer at a discounted price? (ie. parts.com) If so, was it brand new when you received it? Did you receive a warrenty? I'm nervous about purchasing from anyone except the dealer, although the lower prices are very tempting. I refuse to buy from Ebay -- I've been burned before.

My next question is there a new mapping DVD out yet? Last I heard it was a 2004 July DVD. Any news on a newer version?

Is there a hack to allow it to play DVDS for the passengers view? I know there are hacks for Acuras/Hondas Navigation systems. Can't imagine that it is impossible to by-pass.
