HI MIKEon22s

Can you tell me where you got the bushing with grease fitting and Brand

Thank you

Default SWAYBAR bushing

Thats just a 33mm 1.25" Energy Suspension universal. It didnt hold up well as the metal eventually bent allowing the bar to pull dow., Once this happened all the good of a tight bushign was lost. Some minor modifications to the U brakcet would solve that. I did find a poly bushing with graphite impregnitated in it that was or a 2500 RAM and was a 100% match for the factory braacket. Much better. Also found some great ends bushing in poly as well. Was a night and day difference and still very tight with no squeaks a year later.

Thumbs up

I had the exact same issue on my 07', I also had that loud pop when going over speed bumps, and the only way I could remove the old bushings was by removing the sway bar, so this is how I did it: I bought the 2 new bushings at the dealer they were about $40 dollars and I changed them at home with some help (just in case), I removed the bolts, then I bend the tabs down slowly with tweezers since they're kind of weak, I removed the sway bar put a lot of grease where the old bushings were and twisted them to the end until they were out, I washed up the sway bar and I put in the new bushings by twisting them also, I put back the sway bar, and put back the sway bar links, tight the bolts and bend back up the tabs carefully with a slight help of a hammer and finally it worked, the noise was gone. By the way, those tabs don't really do much I think they're there if you're missing a bolt or something, they are not too strong. I know you want a different kind of bushings but I hope this helps. Good luck!

Default Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the replies

I ran into a guy who has a 2004 Durango and had the same issue
with rattling sway bar due to worn out bushings. Had the bushing
replaced and like me had the problem return within 6 months.

Turns out that his shocks were worn out, he had the bushing re-done
and replaced his front shocks and its been good for over 2 years. So
he claims.

Maybe this is my issue - Any thoughts

Thanks

They all very not sure if even the vin/build data will help. A caliper will tell the tale. Measure it.
