Default Door Sensor not working

My door sensor doesn't work anymore which means the radio stays on. I think it eventually shuts off after 5 minutes. Luckily the lights aren't on the same sensor. I've gotten used to manually shutting off the radio, but still...

Is there a way I can change this myself (w/limited mechanical skills) or do I need to take it somewhere to be fixed?

If you know it is the sensor, check the wiring to it 1st to make sure it isn't just unplugged. Clean if if you can. Lastly, just order a new one and install it. Generally not hard.

Well, I'm not sure if it is the door sensor or even if there is a door sensor. It didn't come up on a search for car parts. Any ideas what I'm looking for and where to look? Anyone know of links with wiring diagrams for the door?

P.S. I'm not a mechanic, but have limit knowledge about engines and such.
