let us know what you think about the shocks, just like you when i was looking at what to put on the truck, i searched for reviews and i couldnt really find much that was specific for the truck.

good luck installing them.

If you got them retail, then you at least have the convenience of going back to the store to trade any bad ones in (they have lifetime warranties). That convenience is worth a little bit, IMO.

Its fairly easy, especially when comparing it to something like my 2001 Ram, where the front shocks are inside the coil springs.

If you have a basic set of socket wrenches and metric sockets, you are set. I know I already rang its bell once, but spray those bolts with some sort of rust penetrator an hour or so before going to work, that'll make the job a lot easier.

my newly bought used D is likely needing new shocks as the ride's is quite unsettling going over humps. changing it seems easy enough for diy but i did see the bolts are kind of badly rusted.

Before you change them spray some PB Blaster or Royal Purple Maxfilm on the bolts. Do it a couple of times a couple of days before you plan on the replacement so it has time to soak in. Do not use WD 40.
