2005 Durango Limited looking for front Mud Flaps
I have a 2005 Dodge Durango Limited with the factory running boards. I bought with 33k a few months ago. The owner had rear mud flaps but not front flaps. I called the local dealer here in Ma. and was told they were not made for the front.
It seems the running boards do go past the front wheel well a bit so a flat mud flap might not work.
Has anyone located front mud flaps that will fit and where did you get them?
Was there any mods to get them to fit?
thanks

Yes you can get front mud flaps for the Durango.. Go to wermopar.com I purchased a set of front and rear for mine earlier this year from them.
I remember having to drill a small hole for one of the lower locating screws for the mud flap, but for the life of me, can't remember if that was the front or the rear. Either way, it'll only take you around 15-20 mins to install both.
Make sure that when you are ordering, you "select" that you have running boards.
Hope that helps..

I was able to get a set of oem on flea bay for the front they fit perfect for the mold of the running boards.
Only thing is the back side of the 2 front mud flaps should of been flat so all the crap can roll off. I don't like the design of the indent for the road crap and our Boston snow to collect. Well atleast I was able to get a set. My local Dodge dealer said they were not made for the 2005 area D's with the stock running boards.
The small hole was drilled into the front running boards to add a screw. Took all of 20min to install both.
Thanks

That's great you were able to locate a pair for your "D".. After I typed the response to you yesterday, I looked at mine and you're right.. the hole was drilled for the front flaps.
I ended up taking the front ones off and leaving just the rear on.. just didn't like the "look" with the slightly wider wheels I have.
All the best..
