Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum but I have been lurking in the background. I would like to know what muffler I can get that will give me a few more ponies/torque. We will be towing a camper and I'd like just a little more power .. mainly tow power. Reason I'm saying muffler is I'd like that rumble sound also for the times that I'm feeling racey.

 

I do not think anyone makes a muffler for the 3.7 liter. It would not make any difference if someone did make one though. Try a SCT tuner if available for the 3.7,

That's kinda what I thought because I haven't been able to find any but I wanted to ask anyways.

Welcome to the forum.

As you will no doubt see if you read about these online forums, the 3.7 equipped Generation 1 and 2 Durangos are considered to be underpowered.

210 HP and not much more than that in torque just does not work well when asked to navigate ~5000 pounds.

Not to sound negative, as any Durango is a nice vehicle.

Our camper weighs 2100lbs dry and maybe 2400lbs loaded. I did find a performance muffler and had it installed. The will of a woman is amazing!!!!!

 

Now for the cold air intake, exhaust headers and tuner,
