Does anyone know how the door moldings on the outside of the D's, near the bottom, are attached to the door? Did they just use adhesive/double sided tape or body clips with holes through the door.
The plastic coating is peeling off that silver strip in the middle of the molding, looks just awful. To be honest the whole D looks silly with the molding anyway and I'd like to take it off, but I don't want to deal with body clip holes expose either.

They are held on with adhesive. I have a set of chrome ABS plastic ones that I was going to install a few years ago. I was thinking of selling the chrome ones on ebay.

No, they are after market ABS chrome strips that repklace the factory ones. They are solid chrome color. I will post a picture when I get home tonight.

I paid $160.00 for them and they are new and unused. How about $100.00 for the set that includes two front and two rear modings? They will fit 2004 and up Durango.
