Question Eight Passenger Seating

I have a 2006 Dodge Durango SLT with true 8 passenger seating. It seats 2 in the front, 3 in the middle, and 3 in the rear, with the correct 40/20/40 split and ceiling attachment for the seatbelt. It also includes headrests in all eight positions.

I have been trying to find private party or trade in value of this vehicle on KBB, NADA and Edmunds sites, but am struggling because all sites state that the max seating configuration for this vehicle is 7.

I did see a reference on a website about an SLT Plus, but cannot find out what the plus means.

Does anyone have an idea about where I can find out more information about this?

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Thanks!

Firelady,

I could find no SLT Plus information on the 2006 Durango in the U.S. Not sure of your location though. What I did find was a Mopar parts link that shows the differing seat configurations for the third row seats. The information I found suggested that the seat is the same size regardless of the configuration for 2 or 3 people as determined by the headrests and seatbelts. Not really sure what extra value would be put on the vehicle just by having the safety features for the additional person. The link below shows pictures of both 3rd row seat configuration. It is about a third of the way down the page. Sorry I could not be of more help.

7 and/or 8 isn't going to change the resell value enough to make an measurable difference. Especially in dealer trade. Good selling point and thats about all.

I would not want to sit in the third row with two other adults unless they were very good looking women,
