Default U Connect

Could someone explain how U Connect works? Does a monthly service fee apply or does it just eat up my regular cellular minutes? Where does it mount in the vehicle?

Default RE: U Connect

This is one feature of my Durango that I thought I'd never use and I was soooo wrong! I love it. You have to have a Bluetooth phone, but then you connect your phone by pressing the uconnect button and saying setup. It will walk you through the whole deal. It does use your own cell phone minutes - it is not a cell service, but a hands free through your car speakers service. It really makes it easier to answer my phone while driving and all I have to do is press the uconnect button if I want the call, which it shows on my nav screen who is calling and everything.

One word of caution - this will drain, drain, drain your cell battery so be sure that you have a car charger for longer trips!
