My 04 Limited is doing the same thing. I'd like to know how to restore the color.

All dodge vehicles come with a rust and paint warrenty. Take it to a dealer and have them make payment arrangements at a body shop for a paint job.

The dealer in Jax. says they (dodge corporate) know about the problem and PROBABLY will recall all of them when they can figure out an easy enough fix;but until that may or may not happen, the bumper keeps fading. In reply to jasonwyo,
it's not the body color on the bumper that is the problem, but it's the molded in black plastic"step"on the top part of the bumper that is fading into oblivion! The dealer says almost all durango limiteds have this problem, too

The black bumper step, yes mine is doing it also on a 04 SLT. I've put armor all on it a few time and it seems to help a little. Something is oxidizing on it and getting caught in the texture of the plastic.

I do have the same problem with my black bumper step. Have a 2004 SLT also. Since I got the vehicle the situation has been getting more and more noticeable. What I did was put a vinyl cleaner on it (Meguiars) and let that soak into it...it helped for awhile but is not a cure. Apparently, I am not the only one having this problem.
