I got my 05 and it had a dealer installed VES rear DVD. It seems that I can only use it with the supplied headphones. Should I not be able to hear it through the in car speakers? Does the VES not broadcast to FM?

 

In my durango you press the mode button until you get to DVD. Then the sound should play through the stereo.
Do you have the 6 disc in dash Sirius satellite radio and all that?

 

Well, I cannot get the mode feature to operate s you described. No I do not have the 6 disc. My salesman told me it should play through the speakers. I took it in and the service dept said I needed a different head unit.
