Question engine ground

where is the wire to ground the engine on a 04 durango with a 5.7 hemi? i need to upgrade this wire since i'm getting dimming. I have 4 10'' re audio pro subs with 2 1200sax sundown amps total 2400 rms have an upgraded 320 alternator but i need this thicker wire. please help thanks in advance.

i think this way MIGHT find a loose conection, it was a million years in the army where i leaned this, iam not real sure this will work, but i think it will. get an analog VOM, set it on the lowest DC volt. fire up the electric connection in Q. put each lead on each side of the bolt, ect. if there is a bad conection it will show a small voltage.

sorry sometimes this old man gets off track. try to go to a salvage yard that has that frame and engine that has not been buchered. and look to the wiring. just a thought.

LOL I dont know if this is any better than the others but isnt it grounded to the passenger side of the engine compartment (near) left of the battery on a 1/2 inch bolt ????
I might be wrong and if I am I am sorry but its a possible option

Your right it is a ground but its a ground for the battery. I need the actual one for the engine. i'm wondering if they grounded the engine to the battery and then to the ground you were referring to because no one can find it or its hidden lol. Your on the right track though lol.

try the front driver side of the block, there is another one back by the trans but that just goes to the frame.
