Default OFFROAD 4X4 MUDDING 2004 4.7 PERFORMANCE

Okay I wanna know how this truck performs out in the deep Mud? Has anyone tried it out yet? How does it perform in AWD or lock 4X4?

Mine is too new to be screwing around in the mud. Build a mudder instead!

I am curious about the new Durango's off road performance too. Looking over mine with it's street tread tires and 5000+ lb curb weight I thing it would bury itself and sink like a stone. Just my thought...

Well... take a good look below your front bumper... that black air damm greatly reduce approach clearance. And the exhaust system at the rear, plus the spare tire, reduce the angle of departure. Anyway... too good looking to be in the mud. In the other hand... if you want to know about light off-road (4-6 inches of mud, where other SUVs like ours can get in, then that would be different. I'm sure the 4wd system is pretty good for that. The engine is good enough to move this 5k pounds truck in the low range.

Regards,
