Default TCC lockup

2006 Durango, 4.7, 4x4, 545RFE, tow package. Sluggish performance, seems like TCC is locking up way too early, and won't disengage without significant throttle application. Even at 35 mph while I'm trying to ACCELERATE, it drops revs and bogs down in TCC lockup, or what appears to be lockup. Cruise control works on the flats, but even slight hills have the pedal moving to the floor before tranny does any downshifting. So the cruise control itself is doing what it's supposed to do. Something else I noticed is that the trans cooler fan runs a lot. My question is this...does the trans temp affect TCC lockup? From reading up on this, I think it does. Perhaps my trans temp sensor is bad and is telling the TCM that the tranny is hot, and locking up the TCC to eliminate slippage/heat?

The dealer replaced a shift solenoid a while back...maybe messed up the temp sensor while they were in there. Or I have a blockage in the trans cooler and the trans is really running that hot?

Same dealer now can't find a problem..."it doesn't show any codes, so it must be alright"
