Default 04 durango problem

Driving to work and my check engine came on. At first I didn't notice anything wrong, then as the stop light turned green, I stepped on the gas and it felt like I was starting off in second gear. It doesn't have any odd sound but a major loss of power. Feels like I am pulling a heavy trailer.
Thanks

You'll need to get the codes checked. Could be anything. Bad sensor, transmission, bad fuel, electrical...

Not sure, but to me this sounds like your transmission is stuck in "limp" mode.
The codes indicate the shift solenoid. This could be the solenoid itself, or a wiring issue. Last time I had this type of issue, the vehicle was under warranty and I took it for repair. Turned out to be a bad connection. I can't be much more help as I haven't worked on this type of problem as yet. If you know a good transmission guy, that would be the place to start though.
