Default Q: No sound from multimedia. Why?

Dear all,

I'm facing time by time strange problem. Early morning when I start my doddge durango 2004 hemi limited, and powering on radio, sometimes there is no sound. I can change to sat, cd, radio, I can reduce sound level (but not increase?!) and still there is no sound. Switching off/on is not helping. Observed, that after 20-30 min drive if I'm stopping motor for 5-10 min and starting again - everything works fine again. Sometimes radio works in early morning.
Anybody have faced such problem?

Thank you for any help/comments.

Regards,

Jonas

The 2004 is plagued with problems that lead to recalls. Call your dealer with your VIN to see if any pertain to your vehicle. Also, have the battery load tested to rule it out especially if it is the original from 2004.

Problem, that I dont have dealer in my country. I have imported durango to Lithuania from USA. Is it possible to find any information by myself in some official anouncement? Battery I have replaced to new one 2 months back.
