error message on cluster
i am new to the site, and have a question. i have a 2004 Dodge Durango and have an Error pop up where my km should be. What could cause this? Is it something i can fix myself or would it need to sent in? I have disconnected the battery and removed the cluster and when i put it back in error was still showing. Nothing shows up on scanner. Please Help. Thanks.

The '04 Durango has a national recall on the gauge cluster due to it having a problem with shorting out and starting an electrical fire. Go to this link https://www.moparownercenter.com/oc/...nersLogin.aspx and type in your vin number in the RECALL SEARCH section. It will tell you if it's been replaced yet and if not call your local dealerships and get it replaced ASAP. Nobody needs a fire in the cab and the replacement is FREE.

The recall that BW was referencing is #G07.
Repair is free, provided it is the same as the recall and your dealer should be able to book you in no problem.
Thanks BW for pointing it out.
To anybody that owns an '04 please have this checked out immediately because there have been quite a few of the '04 models that have literially bust into flames while being driven and burned to the ground. This is a VERY IMPORTANT recall to have taken care of.
