5.7L Hemi Misfires and Throttle control - ETC light - Wet/damp
2004 Dodge Durango Hemi Misfires and Throttle control electric bolt light comes on and goes into limp mode when wet/damp.
When the engine becomes wet/damp, it will start to shake (misfire?) and you can hear it dieing and the rpm drops and has a hard time starting up once turned off, this also happens when its not even wet like in the parking lot at work it will misfire randomly. The Electrical light on the dash also appears randomly and flashes when driving down the road (EVEN if its not wet outside) and the car will shake even more, can only reach a top speed of 60MPH, and when in drive it goes about twice the speed it is suppose to when my foot is off the break and gas (limp mode?). If it gets extremely wet (rain) or damp the car will sometimes completely stall. The ETC light will turn off when I restart the car, but the car will sometimes have trouble starting.
I've replaced sparkplugs, wires, and sprayed them all in silicon didn't help. Today I took a hose and put it on the above the center of engine block and sprayed mostly around the spark plugs and wires and it started to die and went to around 400-500 rpm from 800 and sounded like it was struggling a lot.
Could the problem possibly be the throttle control getting wet? is that possible? Because when the lighting bolt icon pops up, the throttle is very hesitant and pushy at times and only goes a maximum of 60 MPH and when in drive idling the car goes twice as fast as usual.
Have had this problem for 2 years now, can't figure it out.

Search 2004 hemi problems and pack a lunch. Te cowl may need replaced and make sure all the recalls are done on your 2004 and the instrument cluster an overheat and cause a fire. www.safercar.gov has the recalls and your dealer will need your VIN.

That can't be it in full, it's something more indepth, like why the water is causing a problem.
Today I just got in my car and i was reversing down my driveway and i was fiddling with the radio, so i was braking* a little bit (tapping the braking* slowly, where i could feel the engine trying to push like repetitive small pushes but the brake was giving resistance) and I could feel it misfiring and then the ETC light started to flash, RPM rose, and the engine was misfiring like crazy and it went into limp mode. Was COMPLETELY dry, only a bit cold this morning (Michigan), so there could of been some moisture in the engine from this morning, because after i got back from driving to the store about 20 minutes later and tried it again in my drive way it was fine. This happens when i leave work when my car has been sitting in the cold for sometime, moisture might build up after it sits in the parking lot at work. I thought it might be the manifest ring being cracks or the throttle body.
-It goes away after i restart, Its almost like when i first start my car up cold, it will misfire like one piston and i can feel it, and if i brake then more will misfire putting it into limp mode and the ETC light flashes

See if any codes show up. You can do the key dance or a car store such as NAPA will pull them usually for free unless you have an OBD II reader. Funny thing is that mine died twice on the same road going to the same stop sign at roughly the same spot. I was braking (I assume you mean braking not breaking) and going down a slight grade much like a driveway in your situation. Hopefully a P code or trouble code will show.

Okay I just did it, P2173 Throttle Actuator Ctrl Sys-Hi Airflow Detected
Do you think i should spray the car down and try for the codes?
I found this: http://www.chargerforumz.com/archive.../t-125040.html
Might be the PCV valve or the Throttle body itself.
