My 04 D has not towing package. I see on the net that dodge sells a 7-pin trailer connector that suppousedly plugs right it with no splicing. Has anyone installed saw one of these. Are they worth the $100.00?

It should be pretty simple. Usually you just have to break open a connector and the trailer wiring just clips back inbetween the connector you just opened up. The trailer package that I got when I bought mine was already installed at the dealer and it has the 7-round and 4-flat.

 

I installed the factory wiring harness in my '05 Durango. VERY simple. They have a connector under the dash up on the firewall. Took all of 5 minutes to plug it in. The electric brake controller I got from NAPA works great too.
