I have a 2008 Durnago with 65,000 miles. My lower ball joint has play in them. The front end people say I must replace before the alignment. Dodge Dealer says they are ok, within there specs for that miliage. So who is telling the truth?

 

I was told you must do the upper and lower together or it will accelerate the wear in the part not replaced. I would think the dealer is telling the truth. You could always go to a third place for their evaluation.

Hello guys,

I have problem regarding lower ball joints. Just got new for replacement and it seems that they are different design. Seller is telling that it fits for my durango, but how to fix it in the place. It is moving easily. Please see my youtube chanel for better understanding I have ordered ball joints from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300815877516?item=300815877516 but received different design and without any fixing rings. Can I install them so loosen?

 

I drove the durango accross the street t another dealer, and they told me they were bad. THATS BEFORE I TOLD THEM I HAD A EXTENED WARRENTY. So they went ahead and replace the ball joints. Went back across the street to the other dodge dealer and told them. So bottom line some one was bull **^& me.
