I am having this exact same problem I even bought a new battery and my car will do 1 click and nothing. I saw somewhere online about having to call a locksmith to reset the pcm in the key because the positive battery cable may have been taken off first. Has anyone ever heard of that?

The dealer may have to reprogram your key.

Motor should still turn but not start if key needs reprograming. To see if motor is not seized just put socket with breaker bar on crankshaft nut and turn
