Default HELP! All light work except for brake lights

I read so many posts about this but none for an 09. The brake lights on our Durango went out. Bulbs were fine and no other issues were noticed. Tail lights, turn signals, hazards, reverse lights all work. Could not locate fuse for brakes in the manual. Help please!

Thank you fr your PM but I'm still lost. My relay/fuse box doesn't look like this one. Is it an 2009 box in the picture you sent?

Not had a D for long, but sounds like possibly the brake light switch, activated by the pedal.

By any chance do you think it could be a relay? Not sure if the spouse checked all the relays. How can you tell if its blown?

It'll have a smile on it's face Sorry couldn't resist.

In all seriousness though the brake light switch would be the first place to check. There's no visible way to tell if a relay is gone unless it's melted. Either it works, works intermittently, or doesn't work at all. Sounds like a short somewhere if the brake light switch is OK.

Rockauto.com has a switch for $8 plus shipping. O'Reilly has it for $12. For that price, I would replace it and hope that was it.
