Default Remote Starter Question

I want to get a remote starter for my 2004 Durango w/ Hemi. Curious what everyone's experience has been with remote starters. Is it better to have the factory remote starter installed at dealer or have an aftermarket version installed and save some bucks?
Thanks in advance!

Bought my 04 used. It had a Viper aftermarket on it. seems to work just fine.

They actually make a remote start system that uses the factory key fob. Installed after tax it's anywhere from $300-$350. All you have to do is hit the lock button three times and she starts. Any car audio shop could hook you up. Mine was $330 tax and install
