power steering leaking!! Help!
Iam leaking power steering fluid under the right front tire of my 2008 durango. I noticed the rubber boot looking thing on the axle and saw a hole..i stuck my finger in it and its leaking power steering fluid from there..dont know much about cars/suvs lingo parts. just know its leaking and iam sure its not just a easy fix. any ideas on a fix? its a SLT 2008 durango...thanks!!!!

It looks like you are trying to complete the repair youself, but I'd recommend taking it to a Dodge dealer for help with the diagnosis. Going to the dealer may save you some time and money over trying to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it yourself. They will also be able to review if there was any consequential damage.

There should not be PS fluid coming from the CV boot on your front axle/halfshaft. I think you may be referring to the steering rack tie rod end for that side. Dodge is known for leaking racks as both my previous 01 Durango along with the wife's 05 Grand Caravan had leaking racks replaced before 30K miles.
Do a litle more inspection and get back to us here with your findings.
