Default What i learned today with solenoid replacement

1. this job is messy, very messy.
2. ATF 4 tranny fluid smells horrible.
3. The main connector on the tranny is a PITA to figure out how to take off, once you realize that it has a lever type action its simple
4. There is no real relearn procedure for this job when it comes to the transmission. I replaced about 8 quarts of tranny fluid and the solenoid pack and was ready to be on the road for a few hours relearning transmission. nope took about 15 minutes tops.
5. Very messy job.

all in all took about 4 hours to do it by myself. pretty simple and straight forward. i had the P0700 and P2706 code and this fixed it. shift like it did when it had 4 miles on it when i got it.
