2 Problems: Gascap light and Gas Spits back out at pump
I have a 2007 4.7L durango.
For several months now I have a check engine light that comes on with the word GasCap on the LCD Screen. I have replaced the gascap and reset the error, but it still comes back.
Also, since we have owned the vehicle(little over a year now) when filling up at the gas pump, some pumps will shut off fine and there is no spray out, but most pumps when they shut off, a second or two later gas is spilling out. I have see that this is a common issue with the durango, but haven't seen any solutions as of yet.
Are these two items part of the same issue or separate ones?
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
