Default WIX oil filters?

For the last couple of years, i have been using Wix 51515 oil filters on the Durango. The supplier said it was listed to an alternative to the normal ones used, being about 6" long as opposed to shorter ones. I have since found out the filter is designated for a Ford V8, and the seal is fractionally smaller than OEM filters. To date there have been no leaks, or other issues.

i was wondering if other people are using the Wix 51515 in their Hemi engines, with no issues.

i go to the site "Bob is the oil guy" on that the wix brand is said to a good brand. and Puralator has just come out with a synthetic filter. it has some synthetic parts in the filter. i have been using that one for over a year. after reading a lot about filters i think all of the truly bad filters could held in one hand. of course you DO know to NOT use Fram.

Well, i asked Wix the question, and no surprise, they didn't say no, just they wouldn't warranty 51515, as it is not the right application.
