2005 4.7 V8 Durango Misfiring on cylinder 2,4,6,8
-Replaced spark plugs
-Replaced coil pack
-Checked spark plugs to see if getting a spark (got spark).
-Power to injectors and spark plugs working.
-Unplugged cylinder 1,3,5,7 noticed difference.
-Unplugged cylinder 2,4,6,8 nothing changed.

Car misfires, has a rough idle. Also revs on it's own while idle. Press gas and get no power then it kicks in randomly.

Diagnostic codes: P0300 2150 1155

 

Check and clean the throttle body.

Thanks for response. Throttle body seemed fairly clean but cleaned anyways. I'm not a mechanic but it seems a bit odd that I have only one fuel line connected for 8 cylinders.

Is it normal to have only 1 fuel line running to 8 cylinders? One side of engine is not turning over.

How many miles on this D? It is common these days to have the fuel line go to one side of the injector rail, and there will be a crossover that feeds the other side.
The valve you see on the other side should have a cap on it, and it called a schrader valve.
This port is where you attach a fuel pressure gauge to monitor system pressure.

If the entire bank of the engine is really dead, the timing chain for that side may have broken or suffered some other fate.
It might be good to pull the valve cover on that side to verify that the chain is intact and the cam on that head is operating properly.

I would also test fuel pressure before you go much further to rule out low fuel pressure.
This can cause all kinds of weird issues if present.
