Hi, I have had an issue before were the engine surges and stalls. Took it to the dealer and they said the problem was with the PCM and my new radio. I had installed a pioneer head unit with a flip face. The dealer re-programmed the PCM and everything was fine for nine months.
Last week it same symptoms re-appeared. Took it to the dealer and he said "same problem and same fix"...PCM reprogrammed. (problem has gone away) dealer said this will probably happen again.

Question: has anybody faced this before? Is there a way to permanently fix this?
