06 Durango Gas out of filler
I originally called the dealer and they said no but TNTECH looked it up and said it was covered. You have to ask the exact right question, it isn't a recall but a warranty extension. I printed off the details and took it to the dealer. They had to look it up manually in a stack of papers. The warranty is extended to unlimited years and mileage. I think this recall applies to your vehicle http://www.automd.com/tsb/bulletin_b328819/. Hopefully TNTECh, the moderator that looked mine up will reply to your thread. The dealer definitely made it difficult.
The paint also started to bubble near my fuel door due to the gas purging. The gas only purged out of mine for about a month (4 or 5 fill-ups) before I got the tank and inlet replaced. So, it must slowly leak before it graduates to full out vomiting.

I bought mine used so it only happened a couple of times. I too have a paint bubble under the door. I have seen a few D's around here where that spot is rusted out. Also the flares around the wheels. On my last D they were plastic.

Yes, covered. X39 Inlet Check Valve: Unlimited Mileage.
Tell your dealer it's at the very bottom of the "coverages" section. Tell them to stop screwing around. It's not safe when raw gas goes flopping out of your car.

Chrysler originally was not going to do anything about mine as it was 'not a recall' until I explained to them that three young girls strapped in car seats and gas spilling next to a hot exhaust are nothing to worry about.
